Arranger / Co-Producer

In Wooden Box Studio we have a unique combination of experiences to make the best possible arrangements and co-productions. My work as a cellist and chamber musician combined with many years in the music industry and studio partner, Nicolai Kornerup’s skills as a pianist, composer and arranger, we have an extensive experience in making arrangements and co-producing. Soleima X LiveStrings

We have just finished the making of a string based EP together with danish singer Soleima. Wooden Box Studio has provided string arrangements for earlier releases on the album and we have written and co-produced brand new tracks as well. The album will be release during 2021. Kwamie Liv

We have a close collaboration with Kwamie Liv for both recordings, tours and TV performances for several years now. Kwamie Liv writes many of her songs together with Nicolai Kornerup, who also functions as her main producer. Kwamie Liv’s most recent album was recorded in Wooden Box Studio. Below are some examples where we also arranged the strings.

Sys Bjerre

In 2020 we made the string arrangements and recorded an EP for danish artist, Sys Bjerre.

In this case we were free to make our very own contribution to the songs already written. Listen to the intro on ‘Lad Os Lave Noget Smukt Før Vi Dør’ that we composed to set an atmosphere to match the curious anticipation in the lyrics. Furthermore we did the string arrangements for Sys’ contribution in the Danish Eurovision Song Contest.

Toppen af Poppen, TV2

We regularly provide string arrangements for danish television and TV2 and have especially been able to participate in the program called Toppen af Poppen on several occasions. Here we have arranged for artists such as Kwamie Liv, Søs Fenger and Michael Falch.
