LiveStrings

The musicians in LiveStrings are educated at The Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen, supplemented with studies in New York, Chicago, London, Berlin, Paris, Cologne, Stockholm, Trondheim and Zagreb. LiveStrings has extensive experience with non-classical genres such as pop, rock, soul, rap, hip hop, jazz, R&B, improvisation, klezmer, folk and big band. tours, our work includes studio sessions, music videos, TV-shows, advertisements, playing at outside venues such as larger music festivals, and using various microphones and in-ear-systems.
We provide string arrangements in all genres.

Our professional classical work cover both chamber music and orchestras, such as The Royal Opera Copenhagen, The Danish Radio Orchestra and Copenhagen Philharmonic. Chamber music ensembles includes Nightingale String Quartet, Nordic String Quartet and Trio Gemini.

We have played with artists such as Eminem, Kanye West, MØ, Michael Bublé, Lukas Graham, Perfume Geniu, Søren Huss, Christopher, Nik & Jay, Rasmus Seebach, Claus Hempler and many more.

Natsværmeri: LiveStrings & Bent Fabricius-Bjerre (2018)

In 2018 we released our first own album, ‘Natsværmeri’ together with danish composer, pianist and legend, Bent Fabricius-Bjerre. The music is written by Fabricius-Bjerre and contains both old and new compositions, mainly for string quartet and piano, with Bent Fabricius-Bjerre himself on the piano. The album also features international renown soloists, Michala Petri (recorder), Mathias Heise (harmonica) and Bjarke Mogensen (accordion).
