Natsværmeri
LiveStrings & Bent Fabricius-Bjerre
In 2018 we released our first own album, ‘Natsværmeri’ together with danish composer, pianist and legend, Bent Fabricius-Bjerre. The music is written by Fabricius-Bjerre and contains both old and new compositions, mainly for string quartet and piano, with Bent Fabricius-Bjerre himself on the piano. The album also features international renown soloists, Michala Petri (recorder), Mathias Heise (harmonica) and Bjarke Mogensen (accordion).
For the album release we played a concert in DR Koncertsalen and the year after, in 2019, we made a whole tour of concerts in all the biggest cities of Denmark, all sold out.
Tribute Concerts, 2021
Bent Fabricius-Bjerre passed away in 2020, and we miss him a lot, both his vibrant personality and his brilliance in creating and cooperating in music making. In 2021 we celebrate his life and the music that is so important for so many people, with tribute concerts in Denmark.
