Recording in Wooden Box Studio

We established Wooden Box Studio with the purpose of creating the ideal environment for string recording and since then many of our cooperations and requests, in regards to recording, have been moved to this location.

It’s important for us to have a playful and open energy when working in the studio. Our experience tells us, that this is how we get the most efficient, creative and most satisfying end product. 

We love that we can contribute with new flavors and help emphasize the ideas brought to us. We won’t stop until we are artistically content; this means that it may vary how much time we use on a recording session.

Working with our studio partner, arranger and sound engineer, Nicolai Kornerup, we have reached the most effective way of recording strings, that we have yet encountered. His skills, flair for understanding and creating a specific sound and vibe mixed with his ability to make everyone in the studio feel at home, makes a perfekt match. We all speak both the classical and rhythmical language and have developed great teamwork through the last 5 years.
